Ambition

You know those inspirational posters you see on the wall in your boss's office, or in the break room? Well, here is a submission to the folks who have the corner on that market. I call it: Ambition.

WTF? I had to enlarge it to figure out what it was. Let's think up some smarmy quote about "ambition" and turn it into a poster!

I have an unhealthy obsession with this picture. After staring at it for way too long, I think the snake has a wallaby or small kangaroo--its back legs are much longer than the front and it has a really long tail (still in the water). Maybe this is in Australia or New Guinea.

Man, this is really humbling.

And I vote for kangaroo.

Wish there was some reference to the origin of the picture. That is a beautiful snake. Hmm ... reminds me that it's time to feed mine.

Thanks for the link "laughing stone!" It's a great and humbiling picture. For some reason snakes taking largish mammals seems to rattle people but I've got to give props to a wonderful creature.

Snakes re no more creepy than our spider-friends. ;)

WTF...

This appears to be a patternless African Rock Python eating a kangaroo or a wallaby.

Kangaroos and wallabies live in Australia ... African Rock Pythons live in Africa.

Unless maybe it's a really fat and massive scrub python..?
