A Touching Monkey Moment

I've been very hard on baboons. So, when I came across this fantastic photo, I thought I might post it as a means of reconciliation. I won't comment on the mother's nose or the close-set eyes, or the fact that baboons in general are obnoxious. I'll just leave these two to their slumber.

Thanks for the photo, Lance.

What a BRILLIANT idea for a blog. Truly inspired and unique. This is why I bother with the "Next Blog" feature once in a while.

I am fascinated by funny looking animals as well. I suppose you have already covered the East African Naked Mole Rat and the Honey Badger. I am going to add you to my blogroll.

Oh sure, they look all sweet and motherly a split second before they spring into motion - mother hurling the behbeh toward your face to suck your soul out through your nose whilst mom eviscerates you and snacks on your innards, long canines glinting redly in the sun...

Sorry, couldn't help myself. ;) Baboons are cool. Scary, which is the best kind of cool.
