I don't know who took these photos (though I have my suspicions). Can anyone claim them? I must know! I want to shake his/her hand and post more of their photos.

UPDATE: I must be tired. Tragerstreit pointed out that the first photo has the illustrious Igor Siwanowicz's watermark on it. I still can't speak of the rest.

As gorgeous as I think mantises are, they always look so...pointy...
Beautiful, beautiful photos and creatures! These are my favorites on this site along with reptiles. Vultures come in a close second.
The last two look like they're about to duke it out boxing.
It's all thanks to this website that I get to see such awesome photos of awesome creatures that I never would've seen.

My goodness... I know we're all prone to anthropomorphizing these little critters because of the eye placement on their noggins, but I think I'm in love now. Thanks for the fab pics, RW. (I'm the one who deleted the comment above - I couldn't abide the typo I accidentally left.)
