Out of My System

I have to get these two out of my system (both figuratively and literally). I've been holding on to them for a while, trying to find a good excuse to post them. The problem is that they straddle the ugly - cute fence too much for my liking (I live in a very binary world). So here goes. Enjoy an orangutan being rubbed by a cat and the smiling face of a juvenile hedgehog.

Don't hate me, you ugly purists.

Heh, y'know. Orangs are the only apes who DON'T scare the besheepzes out of me. ;) Though they are just as capable of ripping your arms off without much effort.

Yah for the ugly-cute continuem. :D

You're right these two are hard to catagorize. The sweet expression in the first picture, the beepable nose and hint of assumed smile in the second, kinda cancel all those folds of wrinkly skin.

It's Tondalayo and TK! They're at the Panama City Zoo in Florida. Tonda lost her mate and was depressed and a stray cat showed up and became buddies with her.

I think after the lamprey and daddy long legs post, that this sight really needed a few cute/ugly pictures. : )

I am in love with the hedgehog baby!!! The expression on it's adorable face is priceless. Contentment at its finest.
