I can't determine what species of monkeys these are. Or maybe my inquiry is flawed from the start. Maybe they're a Jim Henson creation, and these two'll break out with a song about goblin babies at any moment.
Any takers on this one? Monkey? Muppet?
UPDATE: A3 has identified this monkey for us. It is Trachypithecus auratus, the Javan Lutung. Thanks, A3.

Trachypithecus auratus, the Javan Lutung. There are two main variations, the most common is the black one you see in the photo. There is also a golden brown variety, which is way overrepresented in pictures online.
*all agog from the Labyrinth ref* Well played, Wombat. Well played.
"You remind me of the babe..."
Now I'm going to be humming Dance Magic Dance all day! LOL

I knew the labyrinth drop would be caught by at least some of you... :)
And thanks for the ID, Anon3.
frankly the black one looks like the Darth Vader of the monkey world "...Luke I am your Father..."
SH- I think s/he looks like that female chimp woman thing from planet of the apes- http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/Zira_figure_L.jpg
Monkeys? I don't *think* so. They're obviously aliens, sneaking around and trying to get the lowdown on humans before they launch their massive rear-flank attack. Just look at those cold, beady little eyes...
OMG! revange of the planet of the apes! they have developed spacefaring technology and sent their "little people" ape things here to spy on us!
The one in the back is particularly creepy. It looks like an old lady in a fur coat. Man.
I'm thinking the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.
Looks like something out of a Dr. Suess book.
The one in the front has the worst toupee I've ever seen. Can't_stop_staring...
