This photo gives you an appreciation for the size of the Giant Chinese Salamander. These massive amphibians predate the T Rex and are (surprise?) endangered.
I demand that a plush Giant Chinese Salamander toy be made, life-sized (sherbert-colored, but lead-free). My kids would love to romp around on one.

I'd buy a plush one, too! And the profits should go to a Save-the-Chinese-Salamanders thing! I love these guys--I saw a Japanese giant salamander on a tv show and it was fierce! The scientists were showing it to a group of schoolchildren and it looked like it just wanted to take somebody's leg off.
I'm pretty sure I've seen life-size plushies very similar to this...
I think they're out there. :)
Is that an albino one? I thought those guys were typically dark brown ... Or is that only the Hellbenders?
