Now THAT'S an appetite!

My dad forwarded me this series of photos a while back. I think he was trying to tell me something about my own eating habits.

Does anyone know what species of snake this is?

I agree with Benjamin.

This appears to be the original photo source; it's eating a goanna.

If this was live video, do you think the snake would have burped?

a-MA-zing. Reminds me of a talk I went to where the herpetologist was cruising around different islands in the Gulf of California. Found gigantism on one island (huge snake) and wondered why. Well, then they figured out that snake eats chuckwallas (BIG lizards) whole, and I expect it looks a lot like these pictures. WOW!

Aww, I know the snake needs to eat too but always want the lizards to win.

Bio, Wow. Given how chucks puff up that'd have to be a big snake. Remember which species by chance?
