Grumpy Old Rat

I don't think this is a true hairless rat, given the tufts of fur on the old man's face. But I'm not one to bicker about details with someone as grumpy as him.

I'm not sure what I'd do if I opened up my pantry and saw this guy scowling back at me. I would probably just shut the door, walk away, curl up in some dark corner, and pray that he would finish his morsel and find some other house to haunt.

    It looks like a dumbo/ double rex cross.

    Way too cute! I love wrinkly little rats. They're so warm when you snuggle them.

    Yes, the ears make it a dumbo rat who also happens to be mostly hairless. This rat appears to be either eating a small piece of food or grooming its hands. I can see how it can also look like it's scowling, though.

    I used to have a hairless rat, but he wasn't a dumbo, too. The dumbo ears just make it so much better :)

    This is actually a double rex rat, the hairless and double rex are a little different, hairless are that, truly hairless. Double rex rats have two parents who were rex rats, rats with curly hair and whiskers. If two rexes are bred, there is a chance they will have some double rex babies.
