Fatal Flaw
Connie sent me a link to this article on Elwood, the newly crowned winner of the ugly dog contest in Petaluma, CA. I can't get enough of this Chinese crested / chihuahua mix. What's amazing is that the dog's breeder was going to euthanize him because he was too ugly. But Quigley, his proud owner, rescued him and has turned his once fatal flaw into fame. He even raked in a cool $1K for winning the coveted prize.

Well, in comparison with Sam (R.I.P.) this little dog is really sweat, Sam was a real ghoulish freak.

Is it possible that Elwood's gotten UGLIER since his crowning? He's giving Sam a run for his money. ;) Sam did look a bit more like something from a horror movie though.

I was just you know, having some dinner, and for some reason, when I was looking at this picture, I just wasn't hungry anymore. He's not even THAT ugly. Just unappetizing for sure.
ReplyDeleteI liked that 'Gangsta Yoda" comment someone left last time he came up here, but he looks a little younger in this one. Still, a very ugly dog.
