Behold the fangtooth. This article describes the fish in this manner: "The head is large with a huge maw and appears haggard, riddled with mucus cavities delineated by serrated edges and covered by a thin skin." Not the most glowing endorsement.But then, these small fish have nothing to prove. They live at depths reaching 5,000 meters. It's pitch black down there - no reason to hide in shame.
