They are really only dangerous in fishing situations where they are agitated and fishermen fall in with them and... we'll they do have spikes on their tenticles, as well as a sharp, nasty beak. ;)<BR/><BR/>They are a very cool squid but it is a bit worrisome that they are changing their distribution so much right now. They tend to live in further south, like in the sea of Cortez.
